Real people! Real food! Im surprised at how inspirational this been to me to follow these photos and come up with my own ideas for putting food around the table and all that that really means. And have I mentioned the drink ideas...?!
Neat idea, not super useful in its current state. No way to go back and edit things youve posted that I can find. No way to search through tags. No way to go back in and add tags after youve posted. No categories to organize the "not recipes"... Needs some work before its something Id find myself turning to for inspiration or sharing.
If you try and sync with Facebook it shuts down. Its a social media concept, having them work together, in terms of importing or finding contacts, seems important.
Looking at the food pictures gives me ideas and makes me hungry, which is great because I need to gain weight.
This is an awesome app with a great community. However, there should be an option to delete posts or edit a post. Also deleting comments or editing comments would be great. Great start though.
It crashes in the second I open it!!
This would be a five-star app if it had a search function. I love the no-recipes concept. However since Im usually making a recipe with the ingredients at hand, its impossible to do so if I cant search. How can you design a recipe app without the ability to search?
This is an amazing way to share recipes without all the silly "allrecipes" pop ups, even the app updates are amazingly informative, if you like to try new recipes this is it, if all you want are standard whatever nationality fare just buy the appropriate cookbook.
This app is buggy - Ive had several occasions where I spent a lot of time writing up a recipe only to have the app crash and lose everything. It can be slow transitioning from window to window. Theyre missing functionality to let you edit a post after youve published it or see who liked your posts. But Im sure those will be worked out in time. M
Its amazing to see what people are cooking. So many good ideas and tips. Love the ingredient search!
Need to be able to search for ingredients and food and users!
I wish there was more categorization and filtering. It feels so similar to Instagram and I have been wanting an app that feels like the food52 website more.
Need a ingredient search... Other than that.. It is so good. It inspires to cook more;)
This has become my favorite and go-to app. The best part is getting an authentic glimpse into someones kitchen, their delicious meals, and being inspired to create your own adaptation in your home. Bravo to the Food52 team on and excellent app and community. Very excited to see whats to come here.
Id love to have an activity tab where I can see what recipe was favorited instead of just a vague screen notification. Love seeing all the goodies!
Desperately needs a search bar and a way to follow users!!!!
Wont let me post photos. App closes itself whenever I try to.
I can see myself using this app daily for inspiration, but it needs more functionality. A search option, for instance. And the ability to drag back to the last page (as in insta) from the left side of the page.
Nice app, but when someone consistently likes my photos, Id like to be able to see who they are, look at their profile and photos, etc. As of now, you cant search for anything. You just have to scroll through or select one of the main featured categories.
